Well, after 13 weeks of stress, late nights, lesson planning, and tears I am finally done with student teaching. When I first started teaching I was so scared and nervous that I wouldn't be a good teacher. Now that I'm done, I'm still scared and nervous that I won't be a good teacher, but at least I feel a little more prepared for teaching :) I have learned so much from my students and from my amazing cooperative teachers! I can whip together a lesson plan in a few minutes, make up facts at the drop of a hat, and discipline students with one withering look. I had a few days this semester when I just wanted to give up teaching, but after this experience, I have really enjoyed getting to know the students, see someone learn something and know that I helped them through that process, and getting to see what great things I am capable of. I'm really going to miss my students and teachers, but not the lesson plans or late nights!
Now I get to do what any college graduate does...move home with my parents! I'm so excited to sleep in past 6 and not have to prepare lessons for awhile. Another reason I'm so excited to go home is because my family gets to go to Belize, Central America in less than a month! YAY!!!

Summer...i wish it would get here already!
Well, it's been awhile since I last posted, but not a whole lot has happened in my slow, boring life. I finally started my summer job up at the cemetery, but we haven't hardly been able to do anything because of the cold. To give you an idea of how cold it is everyday, guess how many layers I wear to work...5! Five layers to protect my poor body from the goosebump inducing cold. On a positive note...the weather seems to be heading in a warmer direction soon. I have also asked to be moved from Arizona to Utah for my student teaching so that I won't be so far away from my family. I also have several date opportunities in the near future there...so maybe something exciting will finally happen to me ;)
I miss my friends and life in Rexburg, but I'm so glad that I'm home with my family. I forget how much I love my family until I've been away for awhile.

Graduation
Well, I can't believe it but I graduate today! And tomorrow! All semester I have been so excited that its my last one, but now that its here, I'm pretty sad and nervous. College has been the best two and a half years of my life. I'm going to miss my roommates, the teachers, and the environment of BYU-ID. But I'm excited to see what will happen in this next stage of my life...hopefully it will have a lot more men than this last stage had, ha ha :)

Finals...Finally!!!!
I can't believe that my final finals is already here! And it's probably the worst finals I've ever had :( But only two more days until I'm done with college...CRAZY!!
Thinking back over my college life, in particular this last semester, I have to say that I've been extremely blessed. I've had awesome roommates this semester and we've had a lot of fun together. Thanks to my best room roommatey! She is the bestest in the whole world!!! And the only one who follows my blog so YAY!!! Love you :)

Here I am
Okay everyone, I decided to get a blog finally...mostly because I don't want to write the fifteen page paper that's due tomorrow :) I'm excited to finally have a place besides facebook where I can stay in contact with everyone and keep everybody updated on my life.
